EDITORIAL OVERVIEW
Megaways is a variable-reel mechanic in which the number of visible symbols can change between rounds. Multiplying the active positions across the relevant reels produces the ways count shown for that spin.
The advertised maximum is a ceiling for the permitted layout, not a guarantee that every round will use that many ways. A higher active count also does not guarantee a win because the required symbols still have to land on a valid path.
Megaways can be combined with cascades, multipliers, free spins and persistent reel modifiers. Those additions are not part of one universal rule set; the paytable for each game explains which modifiers are active and when they reset.
Use the demo to watch the displayed ways count and changing reel heights. Do not infer volatility or expected return from a short sample of layouts.
