EDITORIAL OVERVIEW

How multipliers work

A multiplier changes a qualifying value by a stated factor, but games apply the factor at different stages. It can affect one symbol, one position, a cascade, a total win or every spin in a feature.

Several values shown together may add, multiply, select the highest or apply to separate wins. Their placement on screen is not enough to determine the calculation; the paytable controls it.

Persistence is also title-specific. A factor can apply once, increase across cascades, remain for a free-spin feature or attach to a reel position.

Use the demos as worked visual examples. Record the qualifying win first, then follow the multiplier calculation and reset point before comparing two games.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions about this topic

Do all displayed multipliers apply to every win?

No. Eligibility and timing are title-specific.

Can a multiplier persist?

Some persist during a feature or cascade chain; others apply once.

Do two 2× multipliers always make 4×?

Not necessarily. A game can add, multiply or apply them separately.

Does a larger multiplier guarantee a larger total result?

No. A qualifying underlying win is still required.
